Yokohama Parada Spec2
Hey Luke or Dexter, what is your take on the Parada Spec2. I have always liked the look of these tires and I'm not going to the track or anything, but I would like a tire that grips and has pretty good wear.

The Spec 2 is leaps and bounds over the original Parada and I would put its performance in line with the AVS ES100 and the Sumitomo HTR ZII - the upper end of 'ultra high performance.' The Spec 2 made its biggest gains over the original in terms of ride comfort and quietness. It has wonderful turn in response and dry traction, better than that of the ES100, Sumitomo, and most others in the group. The Spec 2 is asymmetric; which on a good note means it can be rotated any which way (right to left, front to back, etc...) but on the other hand it isn't as good as its directional competitors in terms of resistance to hydroplaning.
Bottom line, I'm very impressed with this tire - you'll love it for its responsiveness and unique look.

im using it on my modded 98 prelude... i am impressed with
the comfort factor and quiet ride...but at the limit, it is not
anywhere close to the S03's in terms of grip.. i use to use
SP8000's (dunlops) before...the dunlops gripped better,
but for the street, i think i prefer the Spec2's.
for streeting around, these tires are excellent! i plan to
get these when my S03's wear out on my wrx's SSR comps.
reasons being the S03 is great, but the sidewalls are stiff
and somewhat harsh for chicago roads.
