Woo Hoo! Dunlop M2 Wintersports are on! Where the hell is all my snow?
Well I just drove w/ my new tires and they are pretty decent dry tires, not any worse then the RE92s. Unfortunately, all my snow is gone. I'm getting sick of 70 degree weather up here. I'm not asking for what the East Coast got, but I need snow to drive and ride on.

PS I'll post an update as soon as I get to drive these suckers in the snow.

DOH! I feel your pain, man. The weather is nice for bike riding, but I want to go snowboarding and driving on some fresh! My Nokian's are confused!

Anyway, I was thinking of buying snow tires too. But, I've had to drive through a few days of pre-plow mush here in Chicago and I have to say, the RE92's have been doing a fine job! I can make them fail when I try hard enough, but that's only under strictly controlled test conditions. Normal driving and the occasional panic move have been fine.

Well Drewski,
I don't want to sound like I'm rubbing it in or anything because this weather is nice, it's been around 60-70 degrees out in SF Bay Area for the last week or so. This also means all that snow in Tahoe is melting. And since I am an avid winter sports fan, it really sucks! Also, I want to try out my new tires. (Trust me, when the treads on those re92's wear down a little, it will get scary, especially on mountainous snowy roads)

I bought the M2's from Tirerack for $98/each. W/ shipping it was about $440. I bought these because they are H-rated. A little higher rating than most snow tires, since I don't live in the snow and have to drive to it. I'm going up boarding next weekend and it is suppose to snow. I'll give you the skinny on how they handle after the weekend.
