Will SSR Competition with SP9000 fit?
I'm looking to find out if 4 17x7.5 SSR Competition Gold Painted with 4 225/45ZR17 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 will fit without any rubbing. Is any type of spacer needed?
Vehicle is an '04 WRX Wagen (WR Blue)
I'll almost definately be purchasing from tirerack and I understand they are regulars here, so maybe they can bring up their opinions too.
Thanks,
Mike

Funny you should ask... I have that same setup on my '02 wagon with excellent results. No surprises. The SSRs are bored specifically for Subaru - so they don't even need a centering ring. We'll send lugs along for free because the stock ones don't look so good on the SSRs, so you'll need to put 5 old ones in your trunk for use of the spare.
You can email me (dexter@tirerack.com) and I'll send you a picture if you'd like.

Sounds great Dexter, I think I'll probably even upgrade the tires a tad to SP9090s just because they are completely instock at the NV facility. Thanks for the headsup on the nuts as a freebie. That's not much of an expense, but I appreciate the offer; that offer clinches the deal for me to buy from tirerack. I should decide in the next couple of days.
Thanks for the quick response.

Well, I ordered everything late yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, The NV distrib doesn't have any center caps and they aren't expected in until the end of the month. They checked for an alternative-temporary cap but couldn't come up with anything. No biggie to me. I hate to wait...but there's nothing I can do about it.
Baby will get her new shoes sometime near the end of this month when the caps come in.
I'm really fond of the 'no-cost' extras (realistically I know they are factored into the overall cost, but it makes me feel good) 4 SSR center cap - N/C, 20 required lugnut - N/C, 4 mount and balence - N/C.
Hmm, that make me wonder, will the nut tops be gold or silver? Gold or black nut caps maybe?
