Wider tires for suby...how wide can I go?

I don't think you will be able to get 225s on 6" wide rims. Check out the tire makers web sites & you will find the tire specs. showing the required rims widths.

that's the same size as on my saturn, try 205/55's. They give a nice increase in width, and just run a little faster then the stock size.

you woudn't want the 225 size anyway, too much tire that's wider then the rim, the handeling would really suffer.
