I have a 07 2.5i with stock 16s and I wanted to go up to tahoe from the bay area. Do you guys recommend getting all season tires before the big snow comes in or is the stock tires good enough (for both now and when snow comes)?

What tires come with the 2.5i? If it's the Re-92's, they are okay for trips to tahoe. Not the best but since the tires are new, they should have good tread and should be okay for snow. Drive slow and make sure you keep the car in gear if it's a manual.

i took my car up to tahoe on re92s, while they werent TEH BEST, it worked. i was slipping a little every now and then, but i was driving pretty slow when it happened. just drive slow and careful, tkae your time driving up there.
