Just as the title reads.. I was quoted from a dealer that told me the 03' that I am looking at has 15" wheels..
Exact quote:
"15-Inch Steel Wheels With Full Wheel Covers * 195/60 R15 87H M+S Tires"

I thought the rex came with 17" stock... Or am I just thinking too hard into this?

BlingBlingBlue gave me this reply in the general forum but I'm not sure if I understand.
"16's are stock (205/55 R16), 17's are an option on the WRX. The TS wheels your dealer was referring to do not clear WRX brakes. From what I understand it is very difficult to find 15's that will fit over the brakes.

He's likely got it wrong. Blingblingblue was correct in saying the standard is 16", option is 17". I'm guessing they worked a deal to sell another car with the 16" WRX wheels. This could work to your advantage because you could negotiate a better deal on the car (with your newfound knowledge) and purchase aftermarket 17" wheels with the saved money. If the 15" steel wheels fit okay, which I would assume, then you could use them as snow wheels/tires.

I went to the dealership and there was the lonely 03' Sonic yellow rex.... It DID infact have the 16" stock tires and wheels. I was very happy..
