The TOYO's grip really well but when they wear out they sound like 4 bad wheel bearings with all the roar from them and the tend to pull alot harder going down the road, sorta like when you are first getting used to directional tires.Don't get me wrong....I'd rather have the roar than the flapping sound of a flat.

It makes me wonder how the heck everyone is killing them so fast. My car is stock except for a brake kit. I use it for going back and forth to work. Don't track. Its my commuter car and sometimes go hard on corners.
Unless your drifting like a madman or race, these tires last a long time. That is if the car is stock ^_^

i was still in college so it was used for commuting to and from class (abotu 2 miles) and driving up to the mountain and driving at the limit up and down it a lot. plus a lot of off road driving with a lot of drifting on dirt roads
thats how they go out so fast

Thanks for all the info. I am replacing the tires soon (ContiExtremeContact's are on the way), I just wondered how long others lasted. Thanks!

I'm at 23k now and the tread has about 50% left...I'm going to drive them through the summer and put snows on the stock wheels next winter.
I drive pretty hard and I am trying to wear them out (to justify getting new tires) also.

I still remember seeing them on their last legs. Not a pretty sight. Didn't you go Mt. Hammy with your Victor-spec Super Slicks?

yeah but they had a bit more tread on them when i went. but when i went on that drive that BLADE hosted,my tires were already dead. by the end of the day they were completely dead. and it was raining that day. fun drive though.
