Is it just me or does the GT7 look like a Prodrive PFF7 or the P7 or the GC07. I mean they all look exactly the same.

The 245s won't fit without rolling, but will also require an 8" wide wheel.

Austin - it could likely be done, I just can't guarantee it - especially in writing...

Thanks for the offer - but we indeed have all the measurements. It's no illusion; this car is unfriendly to the "normal" wheels we've all become accustomed to. The new breed of wheels are on their way...

Hey Dexter,

Thank you for all the info.
I know that you don't sell Advan wheels, but I was hoping you might know better than me. I put Advan RCII 17x8.5 wheels
on my STI. They have an 45 offset. There are 225/45 Falken tires on them. I had to have the rear fenders rolled because of the slightest rubbing. Do you think 245/40 SO3's would be possible?

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

In short, no. If you're fenders are rolled flat (completely), maybe. I can't recommend because of the rim width range, but I honestly don't think it would work. Here are some specs:

225/45:
OD = 25.0
SW on 7.5" = 9.0"
TW = 8.4"
Fits 7 - 8.5" wheels

245/40
OD = 25.6
SW on 7.5" = 9.6"
TW = 9.0"
Fits 8 - 9.5" wheels

Food for thought:
235/40
OD = 24.5
SW on 7.5" = 9.3"
TW = 8.5"
Fits 8 - 9.5" wheels

235/45
OD = 25.3
SW on 7.5" = 9.2"
TW = 8.7"
Fits 7.5 - 9" wheels

These specs are all from the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position. SW (section width) is calculated by adding (subtracting) .2" to (from) the section width spec listed for a tire for each 1/2" difference in your actual rim size compared to the "measuring rim width" in the specs of a particular tire.

Hang tough Dexter, its not like the extra 10-20mm is going to greatly enhance traction. Most of these guys don't have correct priorities about what truly enhances performance and are into looks???. I'll take "how they handle" anyday as my deciding factor. Tire pressure is far more important than 10mm width. Kinda like the male @@@gan! HaHa!!!
