just because it goes straight sometimes when you let go of the wheel doesnt mean its aligned correctly.....get it aligned to save yourself some money in tires

the comes with an alignment setting that's has some neg camber. Your inside will wear out faster, just happens that way. Now, at your mileage, and having the cords showing is NOT ok. You need to take the car to the dealership, and have it looked at. You alignment MAY be off, but i'm willing to bet it's excessive understeer, aka pushing/plowing (driving too fast at inital turn in) that is causing this.
but get it looked at ASAP.

i bought it from downtown subaru, is there any subaru dealers around here or some that you would reccomend that will be more on my side and help me out. (by like splitting the cost of the tires, which i doubt they would because its a wear n tear item)

Check out these links seems that Subaru can't align a car from the factory my 2001 RS pulled to the left, 2004 STI pulls to the left both cars bought new at different dealerships. If they car comes from the factory with a defect causeing the tires to wear prematurely then they should be obligated to replace the tires if he was to get into a wreck from a blow out due to premature tire wear then who's fault is it then not his they sold a car with a problem that can snowball into other problems. My dealership is going to align mine after I put in the Noltec Steering Rack bushings.

^^^neither of those links show that Subaru cant align a car from the factory...all cars can be aligned...its the retards at the alignment machine that maybe dont know how to do it.

if you are going to get it aligned and you have 300 dollars i would take to griffin motorwerke in berkely cuz there are good at all high performance vehicles...they can corner weight it for you and all that stuff (30,000 dollar alignment rack)...... www.g-werke.com

Well then the retards work for Subaru/FHI I mean two cars with the same alignment issues seems like something at the factory isn't right. Plus the links were not to show that the alignment was off it was to show a part tha tpeople are installing that is helping the problem.....
