replace your RE92s with Falken ZE-512, great for wet & snow
If you want to replace your RE92’s with an all-season that is great for rain and snow, this is it. Not many places carry them. I suggest you go to the manufacture’s website and find someone that can order them for you.
Consumer Reports rated number #1 in the high performance all-season class.
I drove them on dry roads this weekend and they handled great. They are a very quiet.
I drove 75 highway miles on wet and snow covered roads to work this morning. They just ate up the snow and ice. You have to see the treads on these things. You would swear they were impossible to hydroplane.
I felt guilty only paying $60 for them. They have a 60,000-mile warranty.
Here is their website.

Stock size for the Legacy. 205/60 15
I was looking to replace the RE92s with the same size tire on the stock rims. Unfortunately, many of the tires that the other members mention are for upgraded rims and are not available for the stock rims.
Go to the website and punch in your zip code.
I only got two hits. It was either Sears or a discount dealer 30 miles away. I hate dealing with Sears, but this went rather smoothly. They took my order on the phone. They had to order them from California and ship to New York. They had them in 8 days. They were $60 per tire, plus $3 valves and $10 balancing. $73 was still a lot cheaper than some of the other tires.
I commute 75 miles a day through the mountains. I am very happy with them.
