Anyone know what the record is for most miles on the stockers. Just pulled mine off at 49,700 miles and they would probably go another 5000 easy. I know, I know, I probably drive like a old lady.

 

mine were pretty scary in the snow after 30k miles.

 

same thing, I took mine off at 48,000 while they were still "working" in the rain and dry, but I lost control at 30 mph in 2 in of snow at 29,000.

 

I got 42,000 (or maybe it was 45,000, I'll haveto check) miles on my stock RE92's, and they were completely shot when I took them off.

 

umm....7500miles....cupping....(negative camber is good)..and yes i go on canyon runs often..and yes they suck...

 

So far I am at 52,xxx on the crap RE92s... and all 4 are about 3/32 and 4/32 and 3/32 outer middle and inner measurements... I feel that they get better after they hit 5/32.. I often have to remind myself that they are still "stock" tires and still suck ***. I would never consciously put them on.

 

mine were done after 12000 miles. they were fun though! BEST DRIFTING TIRE EvAR!!!

 

oh yea even in the rain no matter the tread...I just might keep them for autox for the hell of it.

 

I just bought my wrx with 45,000 miles on the tires. I think it's time to change mine.

 

I just replaced mine at 54k miles! (they were juuuuuust down to the wear bars on all 4 corners) Drove home from Maine in a blizzard and had no issue getting started or steering, but brakes were completely useless.

Replaced them with BFG KDWS 225/50 and what a different feeling!!!

I think I ran a set for ~60k and still kind of okay... Then I sold the car... I had another set of wheels/tires (Azenis) for track so never really drove hard on the RE92s.

 

34k miles and mine are starting to get a little worn down.....I could get another 5k out of them if I needed to.
If you think RE92's suck, try the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's. My wife's Mazda 3 has 27k miles on it and those things are almost as bald as my forehead...and that car aint exactly lighting up the street.
