I've had my Sub-Zeros for almost 2 years now and have no complaits. They don't weigh a ton like other low priced rims are are still straight after numerous run ins with pot holes.

Seeing were you live and I live in the general area, go with rotas. Every freeway in the bay area suck. Your name is turbo86 as in ae86( i hope ). would you pay 2000 bux for watanabi's or 500 for rewinds. Go cheap, you bend a rim you can buy a new easier then say a volk.

I have the rota gunmetalic 17x7.5 action wheels and I couldn't be happier. Where I live, we have huge potholes but the rota's are still going strong. For the money, rota's are the best.

Okay,

Newer to imports and comming from a billet wheel background on domestics, so I've never really worried much about strength, but hearing all the testamonials in favor of the Rotas ( a cast wheel) are there any horror stories about cast rims from other manufacturers? Knowing that a lot of stuff is cast in the same foundries and boxed for the appropriate vendor, what IS the difference between Rota and other low cost cast wheel offerings?

What Alex said. Thumbs up for Subydude. There was some miscommunication but they straightened eveything out just fine. I have bronze Grids on my car and you can't beat them in terms of quality/$ ratio.
