pretty good all around tires with great wear characteristics ... I really like how well they do in the wet for an all-season tire ... and my wife likes the low road noise

Hey Luke,
I just bought a ’05 Outback 2.5i for my wife, and I can’t have her riding around on these POS RE-92’s, so I am going to swap them out in the next day or two. I was considering the Traction T/A and the Yoko AVID V4S. What else can youtell me about the Traction T/A (or Yoko for that matter)? Have you had a cahnce to evaluate them in the snow? Thanks for your time…

I put the traction T/A's on my car Saturday. Had 40 k on the RE92s. First, the tires are much quieter than the potenzas. No lateral roll in the corners. I don't know if this is because the tires are that much of an improvement or if they are just new and I don't remember the 92's being good in the corners. Tremendous grip in the wet stuff, which we have a lot of in Oklahoma right now. In a couple of days I will let you know how they do in light snow. I was going to get the Dunlop SP 5000, but I understand there in no treadlife warranty. That's what I was *told*. The T/A's have a 70 k warranty. Oh, I got the H rated tires BTW. Hope this helps.
