21 pounds for a 17inch cast wheel is about right. I believe that the Prodrive P7s are 22lbs or something like that. They are heavy, but they are durable and can take a beating.

21 pounds for a 17" cast wheel is above average. Rota Battles are 19 lbs. Attacks are ~15 lbs. Subzero are ~17 lbs. and I believe Tarmacs are ~19 lbs. All of those are 17x7.5 cast wheels, and I have heard of VERY few problems with their durability. P7s and P1s are way too heavy for their price. I guess they charge extra for the name. But I agree that they look good, and if that's what you want, go for it. Personally, I would never spend money on something that could make my car slower, no matter how good it looks.

One thing people need to remember is that not everyone out there is buying their car's to "go faster then the rest"
If you like the look of a particular set/style rim and want them for your car, Get Em'
Personaly I don't understand why everyone thinks that gold ("pimp-daddy" IMO) rims look so good on the Rex......I think they are Butt-Ugly(again IMO), but like I said, if ya like it, it's your ride and ya don't have to please anyone but you!

Why people put gold rims on Impreza is because of the rally car obviously and also because all the STi version comes with gold rims stock.
I am one of those people who thinks Impreza gotta have gold rims, hehe.

I never did like a dark anthracite on blue until I started reading and looking at the Impreza boards....nice!

Oh an on the weight issue, I am not worried about the weight much either, just gotta make more power to push that weight, hahaha!!

personally...your car looks ill man.
good size and color.
too me...i don't care about weight.
i'd rather drive slow and have people droole, than drive too dam fast on a 25 mph street showin off.
i drive a 98 nsx with some heavy *** 19's.....i still look good though.
and my wrx has 18" te-37's. (but then again those rims are light as hell.)
but anyways, your car looks nice.
is that carbon fiber between the lights? nice!

I had those wheels in 18in on my GC8, and I loved them. I live outside of Washington DC and have hit endless pothole after pothole, they are strong as fu--, and they should be cause' they weigh 9000 lbs each !!!

I fell asleep at the wheel coming home from work last summer, and the part that one of you guts said you dont like, that stick out at the bottom of the spoke,..well thats the part that saved me.

I hit the Jersey barrier and the wheels rubbed the base of the barrier and never touched the body !!! Next day I took it to work,.
(I work at a Mercedes dealer) and set the toe, and that was it!!

The wheels are still on the car after I sold it, and they are bent, but dont vibrate..

The onlt downfall was, I know I felt some type of power lose cause the stock 2.5 rims weigh like 15.5 or close to that, and these weigh alot more,..but if I were keeping my 2003 wrx, I would put those wheels back on in the same color,...good choice, oh, and by the way,..order 2 extra cause when they stop making them you'll be screwed..
