My sidewalls show cracking...

...does that mean I need to replace my tires? They're relatively new Michelins, so I'm confused. The tread is about 8/32 (despite my best efforts) and the car only has 50,000 miles on it.

Do you use Armor All on your tires? If you do, that could be why they are cracking.

No, I don't use anything on them. I know you're supposed to use tire shine stuff, but I haven't yet. Hell, I've only had the car since March.

I dont know for sure if you should be concerned but I would think it would be ok as long as the cracks are not too deep (slight dry rot). Im no pro but from what I've been told armor all will not protect anything, it will actually dry out your tires. I know you havent used it but if you do want a tire shine in the future Maguiers has worked good for me.
