maybe I should have forked over the extra 100 bucks for the T1Rs...

any people driving on proxes 4s please comment

ummmmm..duh.

The reo70 is a completely different class of tire. It's much much stiffer and handles WAY better than the proxe 4. I don't know what reviews you read but if you expected RE070 class handling out of an ALL SEASON MS RATED tire you're crazy.

I have them and they are a MILLION times better in the rain and snow than my RE070's were. On try they come no where near it but they do alright....I can still hang overpasses at over 100 if I want. But I knew that when I bought them.

I give the tire two thumbs up in snow and ice and they do plenty good in HEAVY rain.

What's your tire pressure?

not much better to tell you the truth. They are better but for half the money the p4's get VERY close and might be a bit better in the snow.

oops....ment to quote the post above yours.

"I drive up to my personal limitations, no further. If something seems hairy, I back off. Sure I have drifted my front LSD equipped 6MT WRX around corners at 100+, but I can control and recover from a slide."

oh man, brings back memories

Just get a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, and OWN ALL the other A/S tires...

nothing can match those for wet and dry traction...

True that, but you can buy all 4 wheels worth of Sumitomo HTR+ for only a little bit more than the cost of one Pilot Sport AS....
