Help...WRX stock wheel info needed
Does anybody know how much the dealer will charge for a stock 16 inch replacement wheel?
I slid into a curb backwards the other night and dented my rim.
Unfortunately there're no salvage yards around here with WRXs or 2.5RS parts.
ANd, is there anyone who has an extra one (maybe you ruined one and upgraded) that they'd be willing to sell?

I think you have to buy a winter tire package from Tire Rack to get that price.
Post this in the "Wanted" forum and also in your local area forum, and try over on NASIOC also if you haven't already. Chances are you will find somebody with a wheel for sale at a decent price.

dealership is a joke
I'll try calling tire rack. thanks.
the damn things cost 320 freaking bucks each at the dealer.
what a rip. the parts guy on the phone even said so.
I found some used for 175 each, still sort of a rail for crummy stock rims...
still trying.

Tire Rack Rocks
Thanks to those who replied...especially those who recommended TireRack. They are shipping me two brand new rims for $168.
Awesome customer service too. I highly recommend them now.
BTW, when you say steel rims what do you mean? are there steel rims available with the right size and offset (16inch 55mm) for use as a full sized spare?
If so where did you get 'em?

The steel rims were bought for my wife's Outback Wagon LTD, which has a different offset (48) from the WRX (I believe 53), but for her car, either would fit for snow tires. The steel wheels originally came from Tire rack. Call them to see if they make WRX specific ones....I don't know.

WRX rims for winter
Does anyone know if the 15" steel rims from a 2.5TS will fit on a 2002 WRX. I am looking to get a set of winter tires and rims for my '02 WRX and would rather not pay the high dollar requested by Tire Rack or Discount tire for the 16" versions if the 15" (with 195/60-15 Blizzaks) will fit.
Many thanks.
