Should.

The 05 & 06 STi's share the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. All WRX models share 5X100.

(Disclaimer) according to all the info I have seen here and on other forums

Yup, any 5x100 will fit '06. Just be sure the BBS are off an '04 and you're good to go.

Why in the world did they make the 05/06 STI's 5x114.3????

What, do they not want people to put the STI rims on lower end Imprezas?

the wider spacing on the bolt pattern 5 x 114.3 is intended to provide better holding vs. the 5 x 100.

Most JDM cars went from 4 x 114.3 (back in the late 80's early 90's) to a 5 x 114.3 when the cars got over 220hp ratings.

Subaru and Honda were the last (I believe) to stick with the 5 x 100 set ups.

The new STi hubs have much stronger bearings, and the bolt pattern is more common which actually allows for a wider selection of wheels.
