Check out this tire by TOYO!

so i just got the chance to try it out yesterday at Buttonwillow.... MAN THESE TIRES ARE CRAZY GOOD!!!! the car felt a lot more responsive ( i thought i was driving an evo for a second...) and the grip is just crazy good! Tire pressure didnt change very much, and seem to perform best at around high 30's up to 40 PSI. Threadwear shows 140.... but i do think it's underrated quite a bit since there's no real wear and tear after 1 track day... so i think these will be quite good for anyone who's looking to use something for daily and track and dont mind paying to play

no, the Toyo Proxes R888 will soon replace the RA1, but the RA1's are still around. These tires were made to compete with the Bridgestone RE01-R and Neova's.

The R1R is an STS tire. It has a 140 Treadwear, AA traction and A temperature and it is also the Drifting Tire from Toyo.
The R1R won the 2007 Formula D drifting championship.
The R1R is an additional tire from Toyo. It will not be replacing another tire.
It is considered a Ultra High Performance Street tire not a R Compound tire.
The 265/35R18 will be about $226 and they're in the country.

Thanks Joe for the info. Just to add to what you have informed everyone, the reason why Toyo decided to introduce this tire through the drift scene is because they wanted people to see that the tire grips well with a good sidewall, and it holds up to heat very well. Remember, to drift, you need grip
