Best tire size for '04 STi w/stock wheels
Is there a wider tire than stock replacement size that fits well and has a comparable overall diameter?
My 070s are starting to wear out, and I'm looking at S0-3's and other high-end tires to replace them.
Thanks,
David

No, not really. But if you are less restrictive you could try 235/45s, or 235/40s. The former is wider and taller, the latter is wider & shorter than OE. Anything wider than that and you risk defeating the purpose of wider tires. (I say this b/c some people will tell you that 245/40s or maybe even 255/40s will fit, but those tires need a wider wheel or else they will 'balloon' and the tread won't really lay flat on the ground.)
