My step dad was going to buy e tires for X-mas, but I didn't want them, anyways on consumers report and they found the best all season tie was the Dunlap A2's I think has what they are called.
Did better then the Polits Just my two cents

BFG KDWS - it may not be the best out there but definitely a huge improvement over the RE92's.
I finally got them and I totally agree with omaha2.5rs. They are much stiffer than stock and handles much better! same corners i used to take are going by much faster, with confidence steering feedback is better in both high speed sweepers and tight turns. I'm glad I got these.

Hey John #555...

Remember...the climate conditions within your area should also be a factor for your decision. If I were you, I would find someone that is selling the stock wrx rims, put some snow tires on there, and come summer time, put a nice set of "summer performance" tires and shoes on your car.

If you don't get much snow...well, then you have your pick, from the rest of the posts.

Oh, I also agree with the Dunlop A2's. Dunlop seems to make some nice tires for us people in the NE region. My brother has them on his car, and he claims that they are very stable in this inclement weather we just faced. The grooves in the tires also seem that they would "channel" lots of water from underneath. Just my speculation.

Well, good luck hunting.

As far as the size...well, I will wait to hear replies, because I am looking for something other than the RE92's in a month or so.

enjoy,
i.

thanks for info guys.
I find KDWS' good fit for my all season needs... in So Cal, going snowboarding several times a year. In couple of months I'll be looking for 17's with summer tires
