225's on a wagon?

I use the 17x7.5 SSR Competitions on my wagon with a 50mm offset and 225/45-17 sized tires with no problem. The Comps also fit the Brembo Big 328 mm rotors and 4-pot calipers under them in 17" and 18" sizes - but the STi brakes are bigger and won't fit without a spacer. Any lower than 50mm offset, though, and you might start to touch the rear fender. At 48mm, you'll likely have to at least remove the black rubber fender lip liner in the rear.

Clear Brembos- Which wheels?
Wheels I know clear: Rota SDR 17", Advan RC II 17", 18" prodrive wheels.
I had 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot sport tires on Prodrive P1's with my wagon slammed more than anyone I have seen, and It never rubbed. However, when I put on Kumho Exsta MX (225) tires, under hard cornering, I could get them to rub. They are wider for 225's.

The BBS RK or RGR will NOT clear the STI Brembo or the 332 aftermarket Brembo kit. Also be careful, the BBS RK and RGR are both 48mm offset and some 225 tires WILL rub in the rear... Not all 225's are created equal. Also, the RK is a 7" rim and the RGR is a 7.5. Rolling the rear lip on a wagon is not a big deal and is is better to just roll the fender lip and not worry about it.

Perfect fit on the wagon with 50-52mm offset and 7.5" wheels, 48-52mm offset on 7" wheels. Any lower than 50mm offset on 7.5" wheels and you might start to touch the rear fender liner - you'll likely have to remove the black rubber fender lip liner in the rear.

Read about ASA! ASA makes a good wheel - very good reputation among users. They share some manufacturing technology with BBS and offer some well priced wheels that are better quality than most similarly priced wheels from other overseas manufacturers.
Conti Extreme - not bad. It's very well priced but a bit soft for my taste. If you enjoy a smooth quiet ride with spirited performance, you've found your tire. If the performance comes first, look at the Pilot Sport A/S, AVS DB S2, and P-Zero Nero A/S.
