Offset is the distance from the centerline of the wheel (width) to the mounting surface, here is a link https://www.i-club.com/forums/wheel-tire-59/official-tech-thread-tire-rack-55297/. A 48mm offset with wider tires could cause the tire to rub on the struts. running a lower + offset would move the wheel farther out from the center of the car so you will be more likely to rub the fenders. Suby dude is running a 17x8 and Im pretty sure they are a 48mm offset and the 8" wide wheel coupled with a heavily modded suspension and who knows what else makes his suspension not rub. A 235 will fit on your rims because they are 8" wide but I think your tires will rub the fenders since you have a +46mm offset but I dont know for sure.

Thanks MO REX!!! I'm going to see if I can try a set of used 235's and try it out. Heck If I can get 245 with just rolling fenders and no camber adjustments I'll take that too, if not then 225's it is.

I also have to consider that Tein Coilovers will be installed soon, if +46's pushes the wheel out more than a+48 I may be able to get away without spacers.

Thanks guys.
