17x8 Black Racing Pro N1s with 225/40/17...

Im playing around with the idea of getting some 17x8 Black Racing Pro N1s in white for my 00 RS. The package deal comes with 225/40/17s. Im wondering if these will rub, seeing as i know almost nothing about tire sizes and things like that. My current strut setup is the KYB GR-2s with Ground-Control coilovers but I might have to buy new struts soon anyway, probably the KYB AGXs. So anyone help me out please, im gonna be getting these soon, i hope anyway.

Patrick

PS. Heres a pic of the rims

Don't do white wheels.

Every modded Prelude and Civic in my part of town has white wheels (which usually started out as black or silver wheels before three cans of Krylon)...

Yeah I realize this, but my hoodvents are painted white, ive got an 00 RS, and I was gonna stick with the BRP paint and white accents....I would definately need new vents if im gonna get bronze rims, and its either bronze or white. Im also not gonna pay $200+ for 22B vents, that is just idiotic I think.

Anyone help me and tell me if they will fit without rubbing??? Please? I need to get these soon as I desperately need new tires and dont want to buy stock size tires and then buy rims later and have to buy more tires.

If your car is has less than a 2in gap between the fender and tire your gonna need to roll your front fender considering that your gonna go with an 8in rim with 225/45 rubber. Im not real sure but with my current set up my stock tires rub fenders during hard cornering and Im assuming that getting my fenders rolled will stop the rubbing either that I'll have to bring my car height up a little.

i have h&r springs w/ 1.5 inch drop. no rubbing problems at all, as long as u get the right offset u should be fine. i have a 45 mm offset on these wheels.
