I have an '03 and i ran on some 225/45-17's for a few weeks before i got my springs. It didnt look that bad, but looked way better when i lowered the car.

chris, a lower profile tire (40) would actually exaggerate the gap. i think it looks fine. i wouldn't do it but it doesn't look horrible. =p check out subydude.com they have all kinds of lowered and nonlowered subes on rotas. 18's would definitely look like bigfoot.

I had 18" with 225 40's on them on my 04. The front looks like it needs to be lowered but the back isn't bad. Of course the car looks like it needs to be lowered with the stock wheels in my opinion.
