probably too late, but i did tons of research and found that discount tire had the best overall price including shipping. i backed out on these tires at the last minute due to fear factor during wet conditions. you will have to gives us a review after you get them on!

yeah, ive heard that these wheels suck in the rain.. but it doesnt rain all that much here, so they should be ok... if i were driving in the rain all the time (such as when I lived in Seattle) i DEFINATLY would not get these for street use... we'll see when i get em though..

well I've had my Azenis on for a while now...
driven in dry and wet, works beautifully on both, but as samirr76 said, they have suck when you hit standing water...
I would recommend these to anyone driving in mostly dry climates, they work in teh rain but there are definatly better tires out there...
they work wonderfully for those 80 MPH hwy 9 runs (those of you that live in the santa cruz/san jose area know what im talking about..)

I had a set of Azenis for a year and loved them. They do work well in the rain but like others have said standing water at around 60-70 they will hydroplane. Not a big deal as they were my 2 1/2 season tire anyway. But saddly I can't buy them anymore because I wan't 18's for my street wheels. I wish Falkin would wake up and make them in more sizes. Do they realize how popular that tire is? About half of the autocrossers use them here in the NW for their rain tire and some for their street tire as well.

When they're not worn, they work great in rain and even in standing water. Of course any tire that's worn out will hydroplane easily. I've run them on the track in the rain and they're fine. I agree that Falken could do really, really well by expanding sizes. I ran some on my RS and just bought an Audi S4 and put new ones on it. Search around for the best price...I've found that it depends on your location and shipping charges. I got mine from www.onlinetires.com but always check Vulcan tire and discount before ordering. Online is known for being really, really slow, so take that into account....they're no Tire Rack, but they were the cheapest when I ordered. If Falken would make 275-45-17's, I'd get them for my Cobra along with some replica wheels....and definately talk with Todd as he supports FFRCobra.com.

I just got my Khumo MX's installed yesterday. They are compairable to Falkens in terms of stickyness in all the reviews, and the first thing I had to do was drive with them through a torrential downpoor with standing watter all over the place But I must tell you, THEY KICK *** IN THE WET! I didnt hydroplane at all, I think its cause of the 3 rain channels + good tread design despite the large tread blocks. They cost about the same as falkens as well, and I have to say I have yet to find the limits of these tires I tried pretty hard already too!
