just to give you an idea so you can compare your offers to wha it would cost new, brand new from subaru these are roughly 2 grand. Side note, the price difference betweent he 2.0 and the 2.5 is minimal for shortblocks.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. I did call subaru and yes they are about that price. In my case I have some forged pistons and rods I have laying around and wanted to swap them out. Just did not want to spend money for a brand new motor and throw away those items.
