East Cost Vishnu custom tuning Dyno Days in New Jersey
East Coast Vishnu custom tuning Dyno Days are back.
Hey All it’s been a while but as per everyone’s request I’m setting up another tuning dyno day with the Master of Engine management him self, Shiv from Vishnu.
Now as always I would like to have 20 people this time around for as Saturday and Sunday tuning weekend. I need to have 10 new customer witch means 10 people that buy a performance stage package from Vishnu or an Engine Management solution from them. (IE, XEDE(STI,EVO,WRXs) Ecutec (WRXs and NOW USDM STIs), XFLASH for EVOs.
Now the other day will be for people with Vishnu’s EM systems in there cars for custom tuning. Now this should get filled up very quickly and I don’t want anyone to miss out that wants to get tuned so I have Shiv’s go ahead to also book people for the Friday before the weekend to get tuned. I can set it up for an additional 10 people. But I need a minimal of 5 people to book the dyno.
Now the prices are going to be posted by Shiv because I’m not a Vendor and am not allowed to post prices.
The location will be at Turbotrix in Edison NJ. (www.Turbotrix.com) Thanks to Mark French and Jeff for allowing us the use of your awesome shop and staff!!!!!

PM'd you
Interested in the last Saturday slot for a stage 1 plus tune for my STi. A few questions, some probably better addressed to Vishnu (I'll probably just give them a call this week):
1) Will Shiv be able to do a 93 octane and 100 octane map for me? I track the car at Summit Point where they have 100 octane, so I'm hoping to get both maps ... If so, will you have 100 octane available there or nearby, or do I need to bring it?
2) It's unclear from the vishnu site which TBE they use for the STi stage 1 (there are 0 details that I can find actually about the Stage 1 other than it's a TBE + XEDE). They seem to have two different versions, a Signature with a divorced wastegate section and a regular without the divorced section ... do you know which one comes with the stage 1 STi package?
3) Can Shiv setup the XEDE to trigger the I/C spray under load conditions for me during this session?
4) I really want the XEDE, but I'm not sure if their TBE is the best out there ... if I decide to go with another TBE, will you be able to install that instead and still give the deal on the tuning session? (Actually I want to be convinced that the Vishnu TBE is as good as any other, but in the absense of details on their site ...)
5) Do you know if Shiv recommends porting of the stock VF39 wastegate with the stage 1 setup? I know that there may be different exhaust turbine housings (17 v. 18???) that may have an impact on that answer ...
[edit]
and finally,
6) Any idea if the PnP STi XEDE harness will be available by the time this goes down??? I really don't want to hack up my ECU wiring ... probably wont want to go through with it if not ...
Thanks!
Josh

Thanks Eric
Eric - thanks again for setting this all up. I know you do this without financial gain for yourself, and we all benefit from your dedicated enthusiast efforts. Can't wait for this weekend to meet Shiv and get the custom ECUTEK tune ...
And with that, please keep in mind that I'm driving up from D.C., so I probably shouldn't be first or second in the morning ;-)
Thanks,
Josh
