Subarus Will Keep You Safe (Has anyone seen this video?)
#22
He goes by the name "Bongmaster" on NASIOC, I believe.
He purchased his "new" STi at the same dealership that I purchased mine.
As I was waiting for my car to be ready after purchase, I was talking to the saleswoman and they had photos from the accident.
Apparently, his WRX in the video was only about a year old, I believe, when it was crashed. He came into the dealership the day after the crash (arm in a sling and a black eye, I believe I remember being told) with photos of the crash, and told his sales person he was there to purchase a new car.
Upon being asked why he was purchasing a new car, he showed them the actual photos from the crash. Nobody could believe that he walked away from it.
That guy was lucky, no doubt. The man upstairs must've picked out two numbers that day, and put one back in the bucket, which happened to be his.....
If I were him, the same day that I walked away from that crash, I think I would've bought a lottery ticket......
