That wasn't too impressive, although 251 whp isn't bad for a Scion.

The curb weight for the Tc isn't that light at 3016lbs (Car and Driver) compared to the WRX's 3086lbs (Car and Driver) or even the 2006 STi's 3223lbs (Car and Driver), and that is for a stock Tc before your friend added the much heavier wheels and turbo kit and any other mods he may have made. And I highly doubt that his Tc is faster than a stock STi given the traction limitations of the Tc's FWD and gearing ratios intended more for fuel exonomy than acceleration. Does your buddy have any time slips to show any acceleration numbers? I'm not trying to bash his car at all, I think it's nothing but cool to get 200+whp out of such a car, but to imply that the car is faster than an STi is, to me, both unrealistic and weak without slips to prove it. I've seen PLENTY of 250-300whp FWD cars that put up mid 14 second 1/4m times which is far from the STi's low to mid 13sec range.

well i don't really care, i own a wrx i dont drive a scion!!! BUT my point is for that price, not bad!!! good for daily driving and most scion with a Turbonetics kit run low 13's to high 12's ( you can seach for video)!! well n ofcouse AWD is better FWD in any way. but that car handling really suck

A FAST Neon... it would be embarrasing to lose to one that we always insult saying "it's just a Neon!".

But those gains are very good considering how much it gained coming from a stock tC.
