Omori WRX Look Gauges
We have a number of Omori WRX Look Gauges ready to ship.
They have the yellow needle, green backlighting and black face dial. Additionally, all gauges are in imperial measurements (US).

The electric gauge has a sender unit that is mounted in the engine compartment and read the pressure through a hose and converts the reading to an electrical signal. The electrical signal is sent to the gauge via wiring harness. The electrical boost gauge has an adjustable boost warning light. The mechanical one doesn't.
For boost, it really only matters whether you prefer the warning light or not.

just ordered the 45mm mechanical boost gauge to replace the factory one that doesn't even match!! - The link to the installation instructions really made my decision easy!!

Does the mechanical 45mm boost gauge fit perfectly into the Subaru "cup" that mounts on the steering column (i.e. the "factory" boost gauge that is in MPa units)?

I just installed mine this weekend - Looks great, and is so much easier to read! A little silicone spray lubricant helps to slide it into the factory rubber column pod.

I think a 45mm or 52mm would work but it would all depend on the vent pod.
I should have the HKS pod by next week so you can order the 45mm and the pod and place it on your steering column - looks like this:
