Whats the difference in how the boost is measure in mechanical and electrical gauge? I guess I am asking how the electric works on reading the boost?

Bump -
just ordered the 45mm mechanical boost gauge to replace the factory one that doesn't even match!! - The link to the installation instructions really made my decision easy!!

Does the mechanical 45mm boost gauge fit perfectly into the Subaru "cup" that mounts on the steering column (i.e. the "factory" boost gauge that is in MPa units)?

I just installed mine this weekend - Looks great, and is so much easier to read! A little silicone spray lubricant helps to slide it into the factory rubber column pod.
