Hey there,
i've got the JDM lights... just wondering if the headlight guard you make will fit those (i dunno, maybe the curvature is different on the JDM's... cuz like everything else is ;0 ) )
and if those will work, what is the price currently (just the headlights)
thanks

Hey there!! They will fit the JDM headlights!! I know this because I have the JDM headlights and the regular kit fits them as well!! I can sell just the headlights but it is the same price as if you were to get the headlight/foglight kit at $55 shipped!!
Let me know if I can help you any further!!
Thanks,
Brian

Another Bump!!!
Just ordered another set of fogs for my buddies car. These things are top notch - definitely at more ease with these things protecting my fogs and my projectors with HID's Will post pics of these things covering up WRX fogs and Prodrive UK300 light housings. One of the best vendors and prices are straight up competitive!!!

Do not use water with the Ston Guards as they will pretty much ruin the stickiness of them. The instructions state that after applying to surface...do not wash your car for three days, but that rain is ok. I tried a little sample piece of the Ston Guard and then added water and the sample piece was useless, so be careful.

Actually you are both right!!
If you did it dry then you would end up with a big headache!!
Hank- the combo of water and alcohol keeps the adhesive to where you can move it around on the surface and still keep it sticky once it is squegeed out!! Thanks for you help bud!!
Here is a link for you both!
http://www.stongard.com/sgcontent/faq1.asp
This is straight from the Stongard website:
Installation is best when applied by a trained professional although many do-it-yourselfers have had great success. To install StonGard, a mixture of 25% rubbing alcohol and 75% water is sprayed on the clean vehicle surface as well as the adhesive side of the StonGard. This fluid allows the installer to position the StonGard to the vehicle without bonding immediately. Additionally, the alcohol allows the adhesive to flow out and become crystal clear. Once in position, a firm plastic squeegee with a low friction sleeve is used to squeegee out the excess fluid and bond the StonGard to the surface.
Thanks,
Brian

Not happy with Stoneguard headlamp covers
I purchased a set of lamp covers for my WRX. I believe they caused a heat build up in the lenses which has caused cracks in both headlamp lenses. Its odd that the lenses have cracks on the same areas. If something were to have hit the lenses, I would have definately noticed it since I am the only one that drives the car. Plus it would have had to have been a large object and would have left a mark on the stoneguard cover. Which there is no mark. Right now I am mystified on how this could happen.
Have you had any other similar complaints?
