FS:North bay 02-07 wrx coilovers rims and tires
Hello I have some stance coilovers GR's and they have about 3k max on them. Also some white rota torques 17x9 +35 offset with also about 3k on them. Right now the rims have some stretched (no flaming please) 225/45/17 Potenza Re50a Pole Positions which have a good bit of tread on them. I also have a set of Advan A-046 tires in 235/45/17 with outer camber wear that I can swap on the rims before sale.
Now the bad for some:
The right front driver coilover makes a slight pop sound when turning lock to lock. I have found the problem and solution I just greased the top and bottom of the spring perch. Apparently there was a slight burr on the top of the spring that wasn't allowing it to turn freely and therefore the spring was getting stuck and then popping back into place.
You must run coilovers, fenders rolled, and camber bolts to run these rims, because of the aggressive setup they will rub occasionally if you do not do so. I was running these on my wagon on max camber settings and with stretched tires to make it work.
Also one of the potenzas has a slight flat spot on the outside portion of the tire. I have taken it to a wheel and tire shop and they said it wouldn't be a problem given that my camber was so aggressive the flat spot on the tire was not touching the road.
Sorry for the long post
Summary: stance gr's / rota torques white 17x9 +35 offset with tires
