FS: Axis Built STI JDM 2.0 motor
Well, its come to an end now, getting rid of the car and pulled my STI motor out last week and all its doing is resting in peace in my garage as of now so I figured id post it online and sell it. Entire motor has ONLY 2500 miles on it. that includes the WRX heads which were purchased new when I first started this project. Axis Power Racing built this motor from ground up and there work is amazing. If your looking for a JDM 2.0 that can take tons of power look no further, this is the way to go. the 2500 miles were put on this motor was done on a small VF39 turbo which made 275whp without even touching the power levels it can make. Heres a break down off all the cost of this entire build.
JDM STI 2.0 Semi closed deck block $1800
Forged v7 Rods(with the block)
Forged v7 Crank(with the block)
Custom CP. forged pistons $750
Head work:
WRX Heads $1000
Axis Racing Stage 1 Valvetrain Kit: $1199.99
Single Spring Valvesprings
Titanium Retainers
New Buckets
New Shims (Shim Under Bucket Design)
New Keepers
USDM STI 2.5L cams $650
Also installed while being assembled were:
Power Enterprise Super Strong Timing belt $165
ARP head bolts $157
Cometic Head gaskets $120
Grand total: $5841.99
I cant express how much power this motor can take and how durable these JDM 2.0 STI motors can be once built. This motor is ready for lots of boost high redlines and will take it with no problem at all . Horse power limits are around 500-550hp and the redline is safe to around 8500-9k.
Axis Power Racing built this entire motor and was assembled by a local Mercedes mechanic. Most of you know Alfred former owner of a WRX STI swap years ago with this same block made over 410whp on a stock STI block. This one is much stronger due to its CP forged pistons, Cometic head gaskets, Power enterprise timing belt and of coarse the ARP head bolt.
Any question please let me know. If you want to talk to Ron over at Axis go ahead. this motor will be shipped assembled since the ARP bolts should be only used once engine is in perfect working shape. Will ship FedEx Freight and will cost around $150-200 depending on where to. East cost $150 Central $175 and west $200 Asking price for this monster 2.0 $4750 plus shipping. Any question feel free to PM me or give me a ring at 732-266-4817
Thanks for looking.

PICS added, Also cant really get "block shots" since the heads on them. Motor doesn't come with alternator, power steering pump, a/c compressor, valve covers, clutch/flywheel, pulley/belts. The rest is your. By the way clutch is dirty b. c it was off my old WRX motor.
