FS: 02 WRX Trans - Rallispec Sti V6 Gears, etc
FS: 02 WRX Trans - Rallispec Sti V6 Gears, etc
The transmission was rebuilt approximately 4,500 miles ago with Rallispec Cryotreated & Micropolished V6 Sti-RA Gears. Also replaced were the main bearings and synchros.
The transmission is currently being repaired as the clip that retains the shafts broke, allowing the main shaft to rub the secondary shaft, causing a bearing-like noise. This is what the mechanic that built the transmission and is currently repairing it told me. It was inspected when it was torn down and all the gears, shafts & synchros are in perfect condition, again per the mechanic.
The transmission should be available within the next week or two.
I had a buyer that gave me a deposit but he has backed out as apparently the repair is taking longer than he would have liked after he sent his deposit.
Current sale price is $2000 plus your stock, working transmission. OBO
