Dude that sucks..sorry bout your car. Damage is not too bad though, and since you got rearended there your not going to be at fault for the accident prob. so thats good.
It's ironic for me that you hit a nun with an toyota corolla, because I did once too; Hit a nun with an toyota corolla that is, with my old Nissan Pathfinder; But I totalled her car. Nun is fine though, never seen an angrier nun though.

Damn, Mark... stuff happens sometimes.
Doesn't look too bad, After the estimate and the chiropractor and doctor visits, you should be well on your way to getting a sweet EJ22T for your "L".
A little windex to rub out the green smear, and your bumper will be good as new.

I am no body shop pro, but from the photos it does look like the rear panels, on impact, deflected slightly, the trunk appears to have not been touched. While a body shop will likely want to replace a whole lot of stuff (thus driving up the estimate), you can likely get away with just pulling the bumper out about 1/4 of an inch. Just repainting a new bumper "skin" is going to run you ~ $ 400.00. Any word on how much the total estimate is ?

what you want them to replace and what they will replace are two entirely different things.
the adjuster will nickel and dime every dam thing on the car wich sucks. Do you know what insurance company the nuns have?
if you want an estimate (jacked up) and feel like driving all the down to my body shop, he will give you a good pricey estimate...
another tip wash your car before the adjuster appraises it.
