Legal racing is too expensive? Wait until you get caught street racing. There is a bunch of stuff you can be charged with. There are 3 tracks in NJ. I know E-town get busy, but Island and Atco rarely get as busy. I have never been to Island, but I heard you can get a lot of runs in.

in light of my last post- i can't say that i've never done it before- however i know the consequences are real. the problem i see is the fact that street racing literally done without regulation. . . in all honesty i think some racetracks suck- thats why people will continue to race on the streets. but then no matter how awesome a track may be people will always street race-just for the adrenaline factor-. my whole thought on this is not to blast those involved in it-but to encourage responsibility in the highest degree.
hopefully one day i will have enough money to buy out an entire mountain and make the nations best track!

Atco is too far for you. Island is in Great Meadows. It's probably a drive, but if you can get a ton of runs in, it would be worth it. Check it out: http://www.islanddragway.com/
I have never been there. Don't expect it to look like E-town. Even Atco is a dump compared to E-town.

speaking of getting caught....
Last night (friday,12) i went to Beyonne... a ran a Sentra Se-R spec V with my 325is... so im exited because i beat the kid by a bus length... so we decide to line up again.
i line up, and all of a sudden a 1998 dark green mazda 626 with tints cutts of and lines up instead of the sentra, so im li OK, i guess he wants a new a-hole..
BAAAAAAM!
STROBES, SIRENS, and 3 COPS WALKING OUT OF THE CAR~!!(the mazda)
me: "oh ****! i have the worst luck ever! dammit @#$,@$#@,%$#$!"
the cop: "turn off the camera you idiot!" (my friend was taping in the passengers seat and i was beeping at the guy because i still didnt realize he was a cop)
me: "yes sir!" "oh and by the way i just wanted to see the guy go, im not racing" while thinking to myself that im gonna have to walk home because my car will get impounded and my insurance will sky rocket because of street racing 6 points!
while 200 + cars are running away and the 3 cops in the mazda stopped another three civics (modified) they jumped infront of three cars and told the guys to get out of their cars
I AM SCARED ****LESS!
the cop comes to me after 2 or three minutes the whole mess started "GET THA F#$% OUTTA HERE!"
me: "exuse me? what sir?"
the cop: "i dont wanna see you here tonight!"
me: "sir yes sir! thank you very much!" so i closed the door and drove out of there with a million dollar smile.
the funny thing is that they caught 3 civics and me and im the only one they let go, i know that because i stayed at the end of the strip for the next 20 minutes watching the cops giving out tickets to my honda "friends"
LESSON LEARNED? : get a bone stock looking german car and you will get away with a lot of ****!
oh, and yea... i wont be racing anytime soon i dont like to test my luck!
