anywhere in NJ... hahaha, i guess you dont get out that much to look around for one!
there is at least 3 places in Central NJ where there is over 50-60 random hooked up cars racing...
cops never shut anything down....
cops come, people leave... cople leave people come.

If you hop on 287 north into new york (i think it turns into 87 or something) exit 14 (Spring Valley) has races wednesday and sunday nights (at least in the summer they did) It was pretty serious, 100's of cars showed up, even an f40 once. The races are pretty interesting...theres abundant rice, but also some SERIOUS cars as well...

street racing sucks! 4 people burned to death as the result of street racing(here in hawaii). those who support it are in the same category of those actually racing. (in my opinion of course )

That's very sad. I dont support racing on the highway. All i wanted to know is where people go racing in nj so i could go check it out. I hear that the people go to streets where no other motorist go.

i hate to not be "cool"
about street racing but why dont you find out when your
local race track...offers drags..like cecil county MD ..friday nights
10 bucks a race....i know there are places in pa right around the border to nj..that have it to ....its a good way to meet others who are looking for what you want.....besides is it about being illegal or watching beautiful cars fly....Andrea

well you have to go to the raceway and start talking to people...
usually thats how i race i hookup with ppl at the tracks then if we want to take it further we'll decide from there.. most modified racers i know and see now are usually 2 cars meeting on a road ,time and place...pre arranged.(maybe pre arranged for that day ).not the crazy scene like in the movies...to many ppl means cops..
most ppl i know already know the car they want to beat and they only wanna race certain cars and r very picking.

hmm... i would love to go to the track. BUT!
to get in 15$ NOT TO RACE.
to race 30$ + helmet 3$ only for 3 runs
drive to closest location is over 40 minutes w/ no traffic. lots of gas.
a run on Ave. P or Beyone is Priceless
+ there is no cars overthere anyways exept people that race.
i dont think that street racing is as bad as you guys say. if there is no cars around you and you cant harm anyone then why not?
highway racing on 78 at 12 to 1 at night.... NO CARS OR WHAT SO EVER. why not?
LEGAL RACING IS WAAY TO EXPENCIVE, OTHERWISE I WOULD BE DOING IT!
