My First Subaru

Hello all,

I just bought a 2003 Impreza RS and I'm enjoying it very much! My wife and I were looking for another car and I wanted something that was going to be durable, sporty, fun to drive and relatively inexpensive. We narrowed it down to the Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T and the Impreza. Well, you know which one I chose!

I've also just found this site and am impressed with the amount of information available about these cars.

be sure to check out scoobymods.com. It has a lot of great info about imprezas. Also take a peek at ravensbladeimpreza.com (same deal)

Drop me an email if you decide to do some simple modding, and want some advice. I've done a full stereo upgrade and headlight mods, as well as the 3/16" mod (a turbo intake thing, won't help you) I'm just about to start doing some engine upgrades, starting with a new panel filter next week.

Congrats on your subie! If you went out at all after the snow today, i'm sure you learned just how solid the AWD system is!
