Dealer recommendations for service in Northern NJ
Can anyone recommend a good dealership in Northern NJ to get my car serviced? I've been getting my car serviced at Subaru of Morristown, and I'm not overly happy with them. I wouldn't really want to use them for major services such as the 30,000 mile service. Loman's is easy to get to for me as well, but I've had bad experiences with their sales department, therefore I worry that their service department may be "shady" as well. Anyone has any input on Loman's? The only other dealership that I know anything about is Liberty Subaru, who I hear is good. The only problem is that I would have to pay for a rental car everytime I used them because they are not near where I live nor where I work. I'm just curious as to what other people think about their dealerships in Northern NJ when it comes to major service work.

Town Motors in Englewood.
The only dealership that's touched my car so far. The head mechanic there is also on the board. I believe his name is Booster on here.

Are they mod friendly? I usually go to LIberty in Oradell. They're good and I don't know if they're mod friendly, but I'm sure not gonna find out. I put my stock BOV back on before I take it to them.

I am on my 2nd WRX from Liberty Subaru. They treat their customers like gold. I have a Blitz intake, lowering springs, and some other light mods, and they've never said a peep about anything. They have a pool of loaners, but I don't know if they are no-charge only for people who bought at Liberty.

I'm not sure how Northern NJ you are but I use:
Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru, Inc.
252 Route 303
Orangeburg, NY 10962
845-359-7777
I've had them do a few things for me: Borla cat back exhaust (they carry a few exhaust systems), oem gauge install (the clock replacement boost/volt/oil temp), and a few oil changes + the 1 recall (cruise control wire clip) and so far I'm pretty happy with them. I bought my car there as well and so far they've been pretty cool. Let me know if you're thinking of checking them out....if you are I'll tell you who to ask for.
