body shop in Austin?
Hey all,
Well guess what. Last Tuesday some bastards broke into my WRX by ripping the rear door window off and then they found my spare set of keys that I still had in there because I just got it back from the shop. The idiots stole my car, drove it hard and banged it all up, stole all my stereo stuff out of it, and then abanadoned it in south austin. The cops found it for me (thank god!). Anyways, I need to get all the damages repaired and I was wondering if any of you know of a good body shop in austin who can fix a WRX right. My insurance is paying for it, so it doesn't necessarily have to be cheap, just good.
The thieves broke into my car because we have been having a rash of cars being broken into in my neighborhood to steal the stereos. I'm thinking that's what they were going to do is just break in and steal my radio, but they unfortunately found my spare keys and decided to steal it. Also they somehow bypassed the factory alarm to get into the car, which is beyond me, because it never went off. Anyways, just a suggestion, but all of you who have aftermarket stereos in your car, be SURE to remove your faceplate whenever and as often as you can, because you can learn from my mistake - thieves will not steal what they cannot see. Drop me a line if you have any info.
Oh and one more thing, if any of you know any good websites for cheap car stereo stuff, let me know. I'm looking for a jvc kd-sh707 head unit and an infinity basslink sub. Thanks guys!!
