WWII Veteran Freezes To Death In Own Home
****ing Shameful!!
A limiter on Schur’s electric meter is being blamed for the man’s death. Now Bay City said it will notify customers before their power is shut off.

Schur’s neighbor, Herndon, said Schur had a utility bill on his kitchen table with a large amount of money clipped to it, with the intention of paying that bill.

It's actually a valid point. It's rather egotistical to only care about someone once they've done something for you first.
To me this would be a sad and atrocious story regardless of the man being a veteran.
Your comment on hippies makes no sense. the power company is run buy business people, not hippies. So shouldn't your comment say you'd "just assume shoot every unappreciative business person"? The problem isn't that people don't "give a flying ****" about servicemen, its that people don't "give a flying ****" about PEOPLE.
