U.S. to Free 141 Terror Suspects
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationwo...?track=tottext
"The Guantanamo prison detainees pose no threat, an official says."
So after 4-5 years of torture and inquisition only about 10 out of 150 actually might have been a threat?
Wow! that sure was a good way to spend all that money and time, lets see, that makes about 2 actual terror suspects per year on average, no wonder the administration says this war on terror won't be won in their time in office!
...and I suppose they will all be happy just to get released -no hard feelings, right?

Psoper, you are so right. Fortunately they are rewarding them by freeing them in Berkeley so they can be with the America-hating professors and student body! Yeahhhhhh!

So you would like to be held in jail for 4 to 5 years for doing nothing wrong? If that alone isn't torture the fact that they won't let the international community look at what is going doesn't worry you? Yeah they were not "tortured" just royally ****ed in the ***.

haha you guys crack me the **** up...
None of you ****wits has any clue as to what information (or lack of) got those people sent to gitmo. You can only imagine, and judging by your lack of logical thought and ever so desperate attempts to cling to "faith in service" you nit wits are just that.
I would be more worried about those being released being the next wonderful wave of masterminds, bombers, and general asshats in the coming years.
One damn thing is for sure, if peru locked my *** up for a few years for no damn reason when i got out and left their reach i wouldnt be waving a peruvian flag and chanting the national anthem.

I'd have to agree...with the not at all being happy about being wrongfully imprisoned and the released after 5 years of my life were wasted.
In regards to the torture....sleep depravation all though not like getting the **** kicked out of you by a guard or two....does wear thin pretty quick. Psycological crap like that is still in essence torture...and we (aka the US) is "SUPPOSED" to be better than that.
The crap that happened in Abu....those guards were put up to that ****, or in the very least...encouraged (or not discouraged).
I'm active duty Navy....and am seriously tired of the crap this administration has gotten us into, and they are now basically washing their hands of it by saying that the timetable for pulling out of Iraq will be up to the next President....
Pretty damn convenient Mr. 32% and dropping approval rating.....
Watch him with this Iran business.....our military can not stretch much thinner than it already is....oh yeah....the repubs are also responsible for decreasing the numbers of military on duty as well...continuing the old "Do more with less" phylosophy.
But what do they care as long as their sons and daughters aren't out there, and they keep their all too high paying jobs in D.C.

Well at least this is still America and not Hitler's Germany, otherwise we'd just simply have gassed those dirty camel-humpers and turned them into pig food.
No, we do still have standards (even though we still think it's cool to kill our own unborn children).

How many times are you going to fall back on an issue (abortion) that isn't being discussed just because in your (flawed) definition of life you see abortion as murder? I have an experiment for you...take a 1st trimester fetus and let it live outside its mother for a while...oh it doesn't? Oh...well by every definition of living organism, it isn't yet...

The last person they released from there was found dead 2wks after his release with an AK-47 fighting for Al Quieda in Afganistan.
Exactly for what were they held for? The media never got full access to Gitmo, no one did. Its ok though, Im sure if some country arrested you for being a white American you wouldn't hold a grudge. Especially after being held for no reason for 4 to 5 years.
Walk in another mans show.... well you know how the saying goes.
