You crack me up. You stated the bloodiest day in WWII. I showed you that your statistics were not American fatalities only, then you try and say I am looking at Civil War with Allied deaths?
You honestly can't be that stupid.
You're post "June 6th 1944- allied casualties: 10,000"
Iraq has degraded from a "Conventional War" to a "Guerilla War" one that is more or less going to continue to destroy the country of Iraq and further cause pain and suffering to that nations people.

Do you really believe that there were only 292,131 allied casualties in WWII?

We have now gained a major foothold in the middle east, are in the process of building our largest embasy compound and will have influence on middle east happenings for years to come. As far as I am concerned this is a good thing.
Would you have us simply withdraw and let the dust settle on its own? You can't really be that blind can you?

We (The United States and our allies) are what is standing between the people of Iraq and a bloodbath of a civil war.

And if you really want to use a viable resource like South Park here, why not listen to it. (remember I only saw about 5 minutes)
Stan: "... if we change our mascot, the eco-terrorists win."
Mr. Garrison: "That's right, the eco-terrorists win."
Same goes for Iraq, if we give up (pull out) the guerillas win.
Come on now, grow up and use a real source.
