Seriously the determining factor that he is president or that it is exciting should NOT BE BECAUSE HE IS BLACK OR HALF BLACK OR WHATEVER!

How did he get into office anyways. hes not even a citizen.

exactly.

Even he doesn't want his color to be an issue, and doesn't want people to bring it up all the time. He understands that racism ceases when people cease to point out race.

He's half black. Awesome.

But more importantly he's not W. Now that is truly something to be happy about.

He has yet to prove if he will do better than W.

Not like that is a tall order or anything; but the simple fact that Obama has done squat diddly as a senator and if that translates to how he runs the White House we will be off even worse.

Im pro 2nd Amendment also....just looking for better laws..there are alot of people who are allowed to have guns and arent qualified for it. Alot of kids have reach on the weopons that there parents own. There should be better/safer ways for this issue. Anyone with kids/family should understand what i mean. No one wants to come home to see there child dead in the floor cause he got a hold of your gun and was showing it to his friend and accidently shot himself...i dont think that guns should be banned but something better wouldnt hurt....

Its called a trigger lock. Use it.

If you keep your weapon loaded - trigger lock.

If you don't - keep the ammo and gun sperate and under 2 different locks.

If you're child knows how to unlock the gun and ammo storage, load and discharge (with or without hurting anyone) you fail as a parent and will be going to the Big House.

There are already numerous laws in place regarding gun purchase.

You "have" to have a safe before you take your firearm home.

But it is ultimately the responsibility of the parent / gun owner to ensure their firearms are safe from little hands.

dont blame the system for bad parenting.

I fail to see your point. So what if liberal hollywood loves him? there was reason Regan became govenor and Arnold as well. Same reasons, cause hollywood loves 'em.

hollywood isn't a majority of the country. 54% voted for Obama right? that's significant in a way much more than simply saying the media or hollywood voted in Obama.

Cause in reality, Bush was backed by a lot of people who wanted "morality" to be a basis in office. It worked out twice, but I don't see it happening again for a long, long time. in 04, the majority of the country spoke, they wanted Bush. That is something that liberal people couldn't understand, but, it's the truth. The majority spoke.

Half the people who voted for him had no reason other than they supported "change." I am just tired for people trying to support this guy with no factual argument to back up their support.

what are you gonna do? put safes in homes for people?

you have to stress some responsibility, not make laws banning the weapons.
