I just bought my suby, my parents just bought a new house, 4 of my co-workers just bought new cars. We are in economic crisis, but I fail to see the correlation here. If people don't spend money, the economy gets worse, not better.
You should be happy he 1) bought American and 2) is putting money back into the economy that is in so dire a need of stimulation.
edit: I realize all that pales in comparison to the price of that tank/car/thing, but the point still stands. Besides that car has been in the making for quite a while, before we even knew who the new pres would be xD

we bought those new caddies (yes there are two, one for the president and a backup for the VP) in a time when we as a country don't have the money to be doing that. and now there are two 4 year old fairly low mileage cadillac presidential limo's out there that are going to go where now?

^ thats great lol.
On a serious note I could give a crap less about what his skin looks like, more on the fact that he has a lot of stuff that he has to fix. Right now the US economy is very bad and it is not going to get better for more then a year. I really hope that he gets us out of the ditch that we are in. I try my best to support who we have in office, I voted for McCain and thought that he would do a good job, but McCain did not win so we now have Obama. I stand by what the people feel is right, and I send my prayers out to Obama and his family and all the leaders right now to help out the situation we are in.

Obama Inauguration Sets Record for Private Jets
Oh...the irony...
Oh...the irony...
Yet it may come as a surprise that at a time of financial crisis and Green correctness, many of the wealthy are choosing to arrive by private jet.
According to an article in Bloomberg, as many as 600 private jets were expected to touch down in D.C. for the inauguration. The runway at Washington Dulles was closed Saturday to allow as many as 100 small planes to park. And the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said it expected a total of 500 small jets to land from Jan. 16 through Jan 21.
“That would set a record, topping the 300 the airport accommodated for President George W. Bush’s 2004 inaugural,” an Airports Authority says in the article.

And, unless Barry has retaken the oath, he isn't the president.

Yeah, that's pretty lame that they couldn't complete a simple oath for the most revered job in the country.
And people still believe 9/11 was a government cover up.
