Your being ignorant in the fact that it was either him or McCain...if there were better candidates they would be up there. The fact is that we had McCain or Obama...and im not voting for a person who voted with Bush 90 percent of the time...

And you're being ignorant if you believe that there was a choice. The real choice was Clinton or Obama. That's it. No way a republican was going in to office. So woman or black man. Period. That's the way the cards where played and that's what the democrats where banking on and that's what the media pushed.
Too many people think that voting for a non major party person is a wasted voted. Too bad a true independent can't get elected.

There were other choices. Unless you completely discount the system and the fact that there are third parties. I will give this to you - they're not popular and probably not viable, but they do exist. They also could very well have won. You never know.
