And Cali - again, kids are dieing because PARENTS are not educating and taking care of their ****ing kids.

And enough of my tax dollars already go to deadbeat parents so I will refuse to have more go to them.

Are you proposing a total gun ban? Look at other countries that have done that and tell me what you think.

Read up on what Ron Paul and Powell have done for this country and there should be no doubt how much more they are qualified for the position.

more "safer" gun laws. whatever that means. restrict more honest people from buying guns. so criminals and cops can duke it out on the streets.

ban all knives too since those are also unsafe. criminals have been known to use knives. matches? omg did you know they start fires? we can't have matches or lighters any more.

you should teach your kids gun safety at a young age.

the laws are safe already. there's no "safer" law to be made. people's actions make it unsafe and that kickstarts ideas for your horrible new "safer" laws.

flatline- yeah i agree with some of the stuff you said that should be banned, but suppressors..are just cool toys. nothing wrong with them in my eyes. they're still audible when being shot out of...depending on the round

as for full auto...let the military keep it. i can't hit anything full auto anyways :P.

I highly disagree. Silencers should be VERY illegal.

One of the most deadly rounds is a .22 silenced at close range. no noise, And the bullet has enough momentum to enter the skull and bounce around inside of it tearing your brain to shreds.

As for silencers on larger weapons, yeah it helps with sound but they are still very audible. Ban it for the smaller weapons and you might as well ban it for the larger weapons to.

If you are legally discharging your firearm - you shouldn't have to be worried about the sound.

Stealth discharges raise questions about the legitimacy of your actions.

Not doing what Bush did, Bringing troops back home, saving our country all that money that we need soooo much right now. Investing in our future, schools, We are taking care of Iraq, while our economy goes down hill and Iraq just profits...Not depending on anyone for fuel...no 5$ a gallon for gas. Investing in clear energy for the future....just little things i can say off the top of my head...

In both those cases the country was at war- real wars against other countries who were well armed and posed significant threats to our well being and freedoms, not phony wars against tactics or inanimate objects like "terror" or "drugs"

For some reason, the "liberal media" likes to refer to this Inaugurations expences in one sum, including security and everything, while previous references to the 2005 inauguration do not include security and other costs-

in a recent New York Times article published one week before the controversy erupted over the cost of Obama's inauguration, the newspaper reported that in 2005, "the federal government and the District of Columbia

spent a combined $115.5 million, most of it for security, the swearing-in ceremony, cleanup and for a holiday for federal workers".

You read that correctly. The federal government spent $115 million dollars for the 2005 inauguration. Keep in mind, that $115 million price tag was separate from the money Bush backers bundled to put on the inauguration festivities. For that, they raised the $43.5 million. So the bottom line for Bush's 2005 inauguration, including the cost of security? That's right, $158.5 million.
