Not to give an actual response to this but. He does ths every year. We and other nations pacify him with food and money so his poor oppressed country can survive the harsh winter. He is probably banking on the fact that due to economic downturn the handouts wont be so healthy so he is stepping up his game in preperation and starting early because nothing happens fast in that arena. We will give him money and aid and he will suspend his programs, just to restart them at the same time next year. This trend has repeated iself almost my whole life.

And every year it gets harder and harder for me to justify the aid we give him while he continues to **** around with it while his people starve.

I am fearful for the day I hear that N. Korea launched a nuke at S. Korea or, heaven forbid, the US.

Do you really think so? I mean N Korea and China go back years and they are both communist countries.

Though I bet that China's patience with N Korea has reached a breaking point and to settle the region they may just whip them off the map.

Let me be the first to say I'd rather have China deal with N Korea than us and even if they do take over N Korea at least that will stave off a nuclear attack...for a little longer.

China might see how munch influence they really have over N.Korea by with holding supplies and luxury goods if they really are worried. China doesn't like that N.Korea is developing nukes b/c it might spark a arms race in Asia which China doesn't want to do.

While I appreciate the abilities and skill set of the USMC (easily a dozen friends and family are Marines), I would be a little more cautious about these kinds of statements if I were you. Like the Russians, the Chinese have a long and bloody history of going up against significant odds and coming out the victor -- and more often than not it's a Pyrrhic victory.
