Maybe its true that there are a few democrats that have said those things about "affordable housing" but Rick Davies (McCain's campaign manager and longtime friend) was also part of the "Homeownership Alliance Lobby" and push just as hard for risky mortgages.

I'm not inclined to believe this was a partisan issue. Its a problem with greedy people infiltrating politics.

 

I just think the video shows that democrats aren't perfect like many of my left wing friends tend to believe.

Anyone who thinks their political party's **** doesn't stink needs to stay out of politics. Too many people on both sides of the table drink way too much of their own Kool Aid. Politics shouldn't be about mud slinging and poo pooing, which is what most of it comes down to. Elected representatives should be 100% focused on what the public wants/needs. Not what the party agenda says, what lobbyists want, not what campaign funders ask for.

The system doesn't work for us, it works for itself.
